At the heart of McNulty is our fabrication facility and its deepwater quay.
It is situated only 2km from the harbour entrance into the North Sea. From this strategic facility we are able to carry out offshore oil and gas projects for both the UKCS and Overseas.
Having a deepwater quay means we can offer enhanced efficiency in regards to FPSO/FPU conversions and Drill Rig Workovers and Upgrades. The facility is complimented with various load out quays to accommodate both module and PAU fabrication.
The facility covers some 22 acres (89,000sq m) and has a river frontage of 580m with a water depth at the quayside varying between 8.6 to 11.2m LAT to a maximum of 13.5m to 15.5m.
McNulty have two load out quays East and West of the main fabrication hall. The East loadout quay is 50m long, constructed in 1997. It is rated to 15te/m2 and has been used extensively for heavy lift and low loader trailer operations and has the capacity to build and load out structures up to 8,500te. The West heavy load out quay has the capacity to build and load out structures up to 6,000te.
As well as having the required craneage and fabrication halls, we also offer clients the option of high level office accommodation which means personnel can have direct access straight onto the FPSO/FPU or Drilling Rig.
